Grandma, you entered my life as a mother-in-law, but the love and care you showed me—and everyone around you—knew no distinctions. Over time, I came to see and relate to you not just as a mother-in-law, but truly as a mother. We all called you Grandma, a name you wore with grace and love.

The lessons you taught us, both in moments of joy and times of illness, were remarkable. Through it all, you remained loving and brave, facing every challenge life placed before you with unwavering grace and dignity.

I will never forget dropping everything and flying across the country just to be by your side in the hospital. That is how deeply you were loved.

We love you dearly, but God loves you even more and has called you home. May your journey to meet our Maker be peaceful. We will do our best to carry forward the lessons you imparted to us and to live in ways that will always make you proud.

Though we weep today, may your life continue to be a source of strength and comfort to us all. You are deeply missed and forever loved.

Rest in perfect peace, Grandma.

Your son
